Photography detaches reality from its concrete base and makes it swirl in a space situated between the world in which we move and pure imagination. By acting on the depths of field, the transparencies, the lights, the work puts in scene objects of which we have here only a luminous and kaleidoscopic presence. It recalls the ghostly and dancing traces left on Man Ray's surrealist rayograms. All it takes is a few objects gathered at the right moment in front of the lens for reality to suddenly deliver a transfigured image of itself.
