Jean-Pierre Maury, known as MAURY (1932-2021) is the last of the Artistes Mouleurs-Figuristes.
During the period of the "Trente Glorieuses", after 1945, this friend of Jacques Prévert moulded the "Tout-Paris" of the night world (more than two thousand models), including a large number of celebrities, in his studio in the famous cabaret "Port du Salut".
Seduced by the man and the artist, many personalities lent themselves to the ritual of having their faces moulded. Thus, Maury immortalized among others: Johnny Hallyday, Charles Aznavour, Bourvil, Lino Ventura, Yves Montand, Boby Lapointe, Claude François, Georges Moustaki, Jean Yanne, Pierre Perret, Henri Salvador, Silvia Monfort, Sylvie Vartan, Sheila, Annie Cordy, Fernand Raynaud, Françoise Hardy.
