Augmented with new inventions for the art of building well by Sr le Muet" In Amsterdam, 1682. Large in-12 bound in full old basane, spine ribbed and decorated, red morocco title page. (1ff) engraved title page, title page, (2 ff of dedication pages to Mr Jean Louis de Waldkirch, merchant in Geneva), 40 pages (second engraved title page). 38 (1 ff) and 39 plates in black, that is 77 plates. Collated complete on the Langlois edition 1645. Dutch counterfeit with slightly revised text. Binding slightly rubbed, scattered light foxing. A good copy enriched with an ex libris on paper (Blondel Library, probably the architect of the 18th century) and an ex libris with a dry stamp (Clair Tisseur architect and writer from Lyon). Beautiful provenance.
