Creation of the CANAL DE PICARDIE in 1724: "Edict of the King (Louis XV), carrying permission to make the Navigation in Picardy by the Rivers of SOMME and OISE; & Canal of communication of the aforementioned two Rivers. Given in Fontainebleau in September 1724.
