LARGE silver DRAGOIR, PARIS 1819-1838 by O. BOURGOIS or BOURGOIN inscription in 1819. In the shape of a covered Medici vase, it rests on a square base with a ball stand, the pedestal bordered by a frieze of water leaves. The body is encircled by a frieze of pearls and has two handles with a faun's head base ending in a cornucopia. The pearl-edged lid has a pinecone grip resting on a terrace decorated with garlands of flowers and palmettes (slight damage). Weight: 730 g. Height: 26.5 cm.
