AIGUIERE and its silver basin, PARIS 1798-1809 by Abel-Etienne GIROUX inscription in 1798. The ewer of ovoid form rests on a pedestal lined with leaning laurel leaves. The body is girded in its upper part of a frieze of laurel leaves, in recall under the neckline. The swan neck handle is plain. The plain oval basin with a slightly curved wing is bordered by a filleted moulding (small restoration to the pedestal, small dents to the handle). Total weight 1350 g. Height of the ewer 29,7 cm. Length of basin 35.3 cm.
