RARE SET OF EIGHT silver gilt coffee spoons, STRASBOURG 1757-1789, master goldsmith difficult to read. Model with nets and shells, underlined of a hem, the net being prolonged in edge of the spoon (small wears to the vermeil). In their gold-stamped Moroccan case, the interior lined with chamois leather (wear to the case). Pds. 254 g. Length. 14.1 cm. A rather porch-like model is illustrated on p. 140 in the book " Deux siècles d'orfèvrerie à Strasbourg " published by the Museums of Strasbourg.
