LARGE oval silver platter, PARIS 1768 by Jean-Louis MOREL received in 1748. Of hollow form, it presents a border with eight contours moulded with nets and is decorated on the two wings, facing each other, with the arms of alliance of the families JACQUELIN DULPHE and MARESCHAL DE BIEVRE. Engraved on the back "V.T" and "6 m(arcs). 4 o(nces)" (some wear). Pds. 1516 g. Length. 43.7 cm.
