A silver CREMIER, PARIS 1743-1744 by Henry-François DION received in 1740, of baluster form, resting on a pedestal with contours decorated with gadroons. The plain body is engraved with a fairly worn coat of arms and has a spout whose base is chiselled halfway up with long gadroons. The handle in moulded scrolls is connected to the lid by a thumb rest representing a shell. The lid is bordered by gadroons and ends with a button-shaped socket on a terrace of radiating gadroons (marked on the foot, lid and socket). Pds. 220 g. Height: 10.2 cm.
