A Roman bottle with pinched projections, Eastern Mediterranean, circa 5th-6th century AD., the free-blown rounded body tapering to a short cylindrical neck. The body is decorated with a series of pinched projections, the base indented, the surface is covered with a thick layer of encrustation, the lip restored, 5.3cm. high
