A large Anatolian pottery vessel, circa 2nd Millennium B.C., the rounded vessel tapering to the base and neck, with a flaring mouth, the red burnished ground decorated with black painted decoration composed of birds and cross-hatching around the shoulder, bands of zigzag and further birds around the body, 68cm high
Provenance: Private UK collection; French private collection of Mrs A. acquired circa 1980.
