Enamelled copper tripod incense burner painted in polychrome with flowering branches and butterflies on the body, two dragons clashing for the sacred pearl on a yellow background and a frieze of Greeks on a blue-red background on the shoulder. The lid with a Dog of Noh grip is decorated with four openwork stylized Tam Son motifs and flowers. The rim is decorated with a frieze of Grecians on a light blue background. The three legs decorated with dragon heads are fixed on a poly-lobed base in exotic wood carved with mushrooms of longevity. The two handles are decorated with enamels on a turquoise and blue background. White enamelled base. Work in the taste of the Hué workshops. Middle of the 19th century. Total height: 21 cm.
