Lot including an important batch of ornemental bronze and lock escutcheons: A gilt bronze door knocker created for the Hôtel Doucet (1900), it represents a crown of roses sown with daisies, surmounted by a bow of ribbons. Height: 15,6 cm - Length: 14,1 cm Model for a Louis XVI style foundry ornament. Long plate of copper sheet, a frieze of foliage, scrolls, pampers and laurels enclosing in the center a blackened bronze ribbon gathered in the shape of a heart. End of the 19th century or beginning of the 20th century. 19,6 x 4,5 cm. A chased bronze plate forming an ornament of a furniture bracket, decorated with two scrolls of grapevines and flowers emerging from a leafy base, itself resting on a knot of ribbons. France, 19th century. Length: 16,2 cm - Height: 8,6 cm Lot of eight elements of gilded bronze or brass lock cases including: A Louis XVI period ormolu door lock case and its strike. The two side-by-side casings show, in a moulded frame, a high frieze of posts hollowed out with channels and alternating florets, palmettes and acanthus leaf volutes. No mechanism, missing the two small movable covers that hid the reception and its dummy counterpart. French work of the Louis XVI period. Total length: 32.1 cm - Height: 8.5 cm - Thickness: 4.4 cm Lot of various ornaments in bronze or brass. Lot of keys and various objects including: Small openwork iron furniture key in the 16th century style. The ring, flat, openwork of a four-lobed pattern emerging from a stylized nave. 19th century work in the spirit of the Renaissance. Height: 9 cm Small bronze knocker with a mermaid, in the spirit of the 17th century. It depicts a mermaid seen from the front, her bare arms supporting an apron in the form of a shell from which fishes emerge. The arms and the shell, mobile, form the door of the knocker. Possibly Italian work from the 19th century. Height: 11,7 cm
