Carved and gilded wooden frame, English work in the Louis XV style.
Provenance (according to an inscription on the back) : Lord Overstone and partially erased stamp (also on the back of the copper). On the back of the copper a N°13.
Reprise of the engraving of Charles Nicolas Cochin of 1727 of a composition of Watteau today disappeared.
