Sagra beetles variations, in brass circle.
H. 20 1/2 in - D. 19 5/16 in
This species of frog-leg beetles is called Sagra Fermorata. These concentric circles are made of untouched natural insects, the females in the center with a great variety of colors, from copper tones to dark blue, but always with a metallic sheen, and progressively small males up to the largest specimens of this Malaysian and Thai beetle. The graphic display in between two glasses and inside a solid brass circle, make them look just unreal.
