Marked, imperial manufacture, reign of Nicholas I. An oval sauceboat, Imperial porcelain factory, St. Petersburg, circa 1830-40. WIDTH. 20,5 CM - 8 1/8 IN.
This sauceboat comes from the ordinary service of the Winter Palace in Saint Petersburg. This decoration will be used again for the service of the coronation of the Tsar Alexander III realized between 1881 and 1883.
