Auguste RODIN (1840-1917) (after) - Damné Engraving (heliogravure) enhanced with watercolours On vellum paper 42.5 x 31 cm Engraving edited in 1897 by the Ateliers Goupil Limited edition of 125 copies, with Certificate of Authenticity from the gallery and photocopy of the proof of the editor's print. Very good condition, slight reddish stains in the margins, and top right corner slightly ripped Informations : This engraving is part of the « Album Fenaille » or « Album Goupil », publication dedicated to Auguste Rodin's works, published in 1897. A majority of drawings feature Dante's Hell, they are generally referred to as "dessins noirs".
