MATERIAL AND TECHNIQUE: chamois depurated clay, ivory mottling; brown and paonazza varnish; hand modelled
Askos with moulded rim distinct from the cylindrical neck, elongated globular body, with pointed rear end, flat bottom; ribbon handle set longitudinally on the back, decorated with horizontal bands and diagonal motifs.
PRODUCTION: Daunia pottery
STATE OF CONSERVATION: intact except for the mouth, encrusted
