ASKOS DAUNIUS
DATING: Subgeometric Daunian III, IV cent. b. C.
MATERIAL AND TECHNIQUE: clay depurated chamois, ivory mottling; paonazza varnish; modelled with slow lathe.
Askos with moulded spout distinct from the cylindrical neck, flattened lenticular body, flat bottom; ribbon handle set longitudinally on the back, decorated with horizontal bands and fillets.
