Napoleon III mahogany and mahogany veneer secretary desk; the sliding top with rack and pinion mechanism uncovers the scriban part with a tilting front and at the bottom two drawers and a niche. It has three drawers in the belt, including the one on the right with a secret shelf. It is surmounted by a removable tier decorated with three drawers and two levels of shelves. It rests on turned baluster feet with horizontal flutes. Late 19th century - 138 x 116 x 64 cm
