'2A6', occasional spotting and light staining, lightly browned throughout, contemporary vellum, yapp edges, lightly stained and marked, Amsterdam, Johann Blaeu, 1637; and an Elzevier edition of John Barclay, 1630, 12mo (2) ⁂ 'a collection to grace any nation' (Samuel Johnson). The work is dedicated by the poet and physician Johnston to Sir John Scot, of Scotstarvit, whose own verse is included.
