NELO VINUESA (Catarroja, 1980). Untitled. Collage on board (framed with methacrylate). Measurements: 100 x 200 cm. Since he graduated in 2003, Nelo Vinuesa's career has never ceased to surprise us with the coherence and interest of his progression. His plastic proposal has been consolidated and enriched through experimentation and the incorporation of extra-pictorial materials in an exercise of dissection, cutting up and rearrangement of the different substrates that make up an image. His work moves between painting, sculpture, animation and drawing, developing a body of work that evokes narratives constructed from symbolic images. His work forms part of collections such as the Cerezales Foundation, Mustang, DKV, Caja Murcia, CAM and the Polytechnic University of Valencia. He has been awarded the CAM grant for Plastic Arts to carry out an audiovisual project in London and has had numerous exhibitions in different parts of Spain, Brazil and Switzerland.
