[DURIE (Jean-Baptiste). Table of the prisons of Blois. Edition increased with several anecdotes and the names of the principal terrorists of the department of Loir et Cher. In Blois, with the citizens Masson and Durie, Year III [1794]. In-8, 78 p., [1] f. (errata), 17 p., 19th c. blue boards, red basane title-piece on spine (corners and headpieces rubbed, russeting on title then sporadic). Uncommon work. A lawyer by training, Jean-Baptiste Durie testifies here about the detention he was subjected to during the Terror. Printer of the department of Loir-et-Cher in association with his uncle Jean-Philbert-Joseph Masson, he was dismissed with him in 1791 for the poor quality of their printing; he later resumed his activity as a lawyer. Printed on azure paper.
