In-8, 176 p., front cover, plates, contemporary marbled tan calf, spine with 5 nerves, red basane title-pieces, ornamented caissons, coat of arms stamped in the tail, double gilt fillet bordering the boards, gilt roulette at the edges, spotted edges (tear at the corner of the upper board, corners rubbed, light spotting in the margin of the front cover and the plates)
Charming edition illustrated with a frontispiece and 4 figures engraved on copper by E. de Ghendt after Ch. Eisen.
Provenance: Count Damas d'Anlezy (1734-1800), military, deputy in 1789 (arms on tail of spine). (Cohen, 312, ed. 1766).
