C. over wooden boards with 2 intact clasps (metal bands of the time), fittings for the clasps, corner fittings, bosses as well as metal frame for the old title label mounted on the cover probably from the 19th century (joints and spine with tear, somewhat scuffed). BSB S-524. - Work of the Camaldolese general Ambrosius de Spiera (1378-1439) first published in 1476. - One of only six known prints of this offset. - Top right with continuous chapter numbering by old hand. - The leaves bb 3 and bb 4 (register) are missing. - The last layer detached from the block, the first leaf almost loose, with marginal tear and traces of a removed bookplate on the white recto side, initially with marginal damage, leaf a 8 partly detached, a few leaves with small missing parts (some loss of text), partly somewhat browned, slightly spotted. Work by the Camaldolese general Ambrosius de Spiera (1378-1439) first published in 1476. - One of only six known prints of this printing office. - At top right with continuous chapter numbering by contemporary hand. - Lacks leaves bb 3 and bb 4 (register). - Last quire unstuck from block, the first leaf nearly loose, torn at margin and with traces of a removed exlibris on the blank recto page, at the beginning with marginal damages, leaf a 8 partly detached, a few leaves with small defects (minor loss of text), partly a little browned, minimally soiled. - Contemporary vellum over wooden boards with 2 intact clasps (contemporary metal ribbons), metal fittings for the clasps, metal corner fittings, boss and metal frame for the old title label mounted on the cover probably from the 19th century (joints and spine with tear, a little scratched).
