Woodcut portrait and printer's mark at the end. 4 leaves, 774 (recte: 762) pp., 1 leaf. Blind stamped. Pigskin lib. (dat. 1625) with printed title in red. (Somewhat spotted and rubbed). VD 16, ZV 3367. - The portrait shows Emperor Charles V. Colophon dat. 1600. 1600. somewhat later (in the year of the author's death) edition of the famous Augsburg Confession, its origin and immediate posthistory. - Browned throughout, some marginalia by old hand, inside cover with handwritten ownership inscription. With woodcut portrait and printer's device at the end. Blindstamped pigskin (somewhat stained and rubbed). Continuously browned. Marginalia.
