(Missing all mountings and both clasps, rubbed and damaged). VD 16, B 2747. Schmidt, Illustr. der Lutherbibel 236 ff. - Missing 4 leaves at the beginning (including the two portraits of Electors Friedrich and Ottheinrich). Partly somewhat stained and water-margined, partly somewhat worm-streaked, title and several leaves in the front unattractively glued with tape, some marginal tears. - With 3 title borders and approx. 150 woodcuts in the text. Contemporary blindstamped pigskin over wood (clasps missing, rubbed and bumped). Partly somewhat stained and waterstained, partly with worming, title and few sheets taped, few chippings.
