Paris : printed for Henri Beraldi, 1892. - In-8, 264 x 176 : frontispiece, XV, 175 pp. 4 plates, illustrated cover. Dark brown half-maroquin with corners, gilt fillets, spine ribbed and decorated, gilt head, untrimmed, cover preserved (Allo).
First edition printed at 138 copies on vélin du Marais (n° 125), illustrated with 5 etchings outside the text and 42 original woodcuts in the text, drawn and engraved by Auguste Lepère.
Copy enriched with a proof retouched by the artist of the frontispiece, and an original sketch signed by Lepère, made in pencil and representing one of the bridges of Paris.
A good copy.
