GEORGES-MICHEL (Michel). The Montparnos. Novel illustrated by the Montparnos. Paris : Fasquelle, 1929. - In-16, 202 x 134 : 301 pp, (1 f.), illustrated cover. Paperback. Second edition after the one of 1924, revised and corrected, of this famous novel describing the life of painters in Montparnasse. It is the most sought-after edition because it is the first one decorated with nearly 100 compositions by the greatest artists of the time, reproduced in black in the text and on full page. The cover is decorated with a colour illustration by Foujita.
