BARBIER (George). Falbalas et Fanfreluches. Paris: Meynial, 1922-1926. - 5 booklets in-4, in sheets, in illustrated and filled cover; modern folder and case. Complete collection of the 5 years of this famous "Almanach des modes présentes, passées et futures". Each issue includes a text followed by a calendar, as well as 15 superb compositions by George BARBIER (1882-1932), including one on the cover, one on the title, one at the head of the text, the only one in black, and 12 off-text coloured with stencils. The texts are by the Countess of Noailles (Letter to Georges (sic) Barbier on fashions, 1922), Colette (Modes, 1923), Cécile Sorel (Glorifions la coquetterie, 1924), Gérard d'Houville (Falbalas et Fanfreluches, 1925) and the Baroness de Brimont (Le Songe d'Ève, 1925). A perfectly preserved copy despite brown marks on the second cover of the last issue.
