Ernest La Jeunesse, [ca. 1905?] Original black pencil drawing, signed lower left: "Sacha". 30.5 x 23.5 cm. Portrait of the novelist, caricaturist, journalist and playwright Ernest La Jeunesse (1874-1917), in profile, with cane and hat. [André Bernard Collection, 2011, no. 61]. 3 drawings from 1908, about 30,5 x 19 cm each, for the Correspondance de Paul Roulier-Davenel, collected by Sacha Guitry and illustrated by him (Librairie Dorbon Aîné, 1910); this fanciful correspondence, first published in Comœdia from October 1 to November 7, 1908, was illustrated with 19 full portraits. - Georges Noblet.
