A pair of mid 20th century 9ct gold, opal cabochon single-stone earrings, with screw-back fittings, opals measure approximately 9 by 4.2mm, maker's marks for Deakin & Francis, hallmarks for Birmingham 1956, diameter 1.1cm, 2.6g - Overall good to fair condition - Opals are well matched, with very good play-of-colour, displaying predominantly orangish, yellowish, greenish and violetish hues - Opals are in good condition, with minor abrasions - One back fitting is slightly bent, may require attention - Screw-back fittings for non-pierced ears - For enquiries about this lot please contact David Pregun at david@kinghamsauctioneers.com
