Oil on canvas, one signed lower left and lower right. 46 x 54 cm. Gilded and carved wooden frames with flutes and turning ribbons. (framing). Painter of landscapes, student of Descamps, Claude Michel Hamon DUPLESSIS exhibited animated landscapes at the Paris Salon from 1791 to 1799. We find works of him preserved in the museums of Besançon (Les abords d'un camp) and Bayeux (Au bord d'un canal de Flandre)
