Important PAIR OF CANDELABRES in gilt and chased bronze with six moving light arms, the cylindrical shaft decorated with branches from which three rosebuds escape, the circular base contoured with a laurel garland. Signed COLIN Style Louis XVI, circa 1880 Height: 66 cm Note: Emile Colin worked for artists such as Carrier-Belleuse, or Feuchère. In addition to sculptures, he sent a bronze clock and marble vases to the Chicago exhibition in 1893. The foundry, installed in 1843 at 29 rue Sevigné, moved to 17 rue des Tournelles in 1914.
