JAPAN, Order of the Rising Sun Founded on 4-10-1875, 5th class, silver and vermeil (Barac 38; cf.Werlich 772), with two red cords. The diploma with a Meiji signature and handwritten Cyrillic inscriptions on the back is included. In its lacquered wood box with some dents, and missing the left-hand ring of the box; some minor dents and chips in the enamel on the decoration, very good almost superb condition.
