This large circular dish with blue and red radiant decoration is divided into eight identical portions, separated by ornamental bands linking the wide border of baskets of stylised flowers and scrolls to the central rosette, garnished with small pendants in a flowery garland. Its very rich composition is similar to that of the large dish in the Musée de Sèvres, also blue and red (fig. 1). This one, however, has ten spokes. Another example, painted in blue and yellow, is in the Louvre (fig. 2). Our model differs from it by its ornamental bands with a trellis motif and by its more pronounced decorative repertoire of palmettes, scrolls and plant garlands.
