Floor standing clock
German, Art Nouveau, circa 1900. Marked on the movement plate: Berliner Zimmer-Uhrenfabrik GmbH, No. 2281. Dark brown stained oak case with carving and partly open front. Brass dial with etched decorations, silver-coloured numerals with art nouveau numerals, black openworked metal hands. Movement with lever escapement, striking mechanism for full and half hours on a tone spiral. Two brass weights, wooden pendulum with decorated brass lens. Movement complete, but in need of overhaul. Steel spring of the pendulum suspension somewhat cracked, would need to be replaced. Several small age damages on the case. H 219 cm.
