Open frame stamped "COLTS PATENT" Barrel engraved with cavalry fighting Indians, two cartridges marked "MODEL U.S.M.R" "COLT'S PATENT" and W.I.Orms by Sc N.Y. Brass trigger guard and stock flange.
Numbered on the frame; trigger guard and stock flange 107** (Year 1851).
