Round barrel of 12,5 cm, rifled, with ring of opening. Acid-etched barrel with scroll and trophy decoration, marked on the back "LEAVITT'S PATENT APRIL 29. 1837". Breech with WESSON patent.
Carcass marked "MASS ARMS CHICOPEE FALLS". Rear lock marked "WESSON'S & LEAVITT'S PATENT". Silver backstrap and trigger guard. Walnut stock plates.
