Folding buttplate (missing the axis), with traces of signature.

This ingenious system was developed at the end of the 17th century, probably by Berselli in Bologna or Wetschgi in Augsburg. It is nowadays known by the most famous manufacturer of this system Michele Lorenzoni active in 1680 in Florence, working for the Medicis, but also for the Saxon voters.
