METZ 1692 - 1693
A silver bayonet saucepan, cylindrical in shape with a cord at the base and on the lid with a spinning top on a radiating terrace of trefoil sconces. The lid is pierced with fleur-de-lis, clovers, bells and tulips. The body is engraved with coats of arms.
Master goldsmith : attributed to David BERNARD, born in 1650, died in 1733, whose mark is reproduced on page 269 in the book Les orfèvres de Lorraine et de Sedan by Claude CASSAN.
Weight : 547,8 g - height : 18,5 cm
Mark : stamped on the inside of the body, on the lid and on the border Master silversmith's mark on the inner border, and on the outside under the foot
Condition : very slight restoration on the top of the body
