LOT OF XVIIIth CENTURY KNIVES
Eight table knives, the handle in silver, the blades in steel. Seven of them are knob knives (one of them is smaller and engraved FG MAUGE), the eighth one has a crook handle (from CHAMBERY SAVOIE). The steel blades are marked by 18th century cutlers (for six). Engraved for three individually: of a coat of arms, a mavelot and a patronymic for the third, and for three of the letters IL.
Four engraved with a lictor's beam, for one: PARIS 1734, master goldsmith: Eloi GUERIN, received in 1727 (XIXth blade), the small one discharged for PARIS 1722 - 1726
