Pair of silver candlesticks and their wicks, probably from a series, bearing on the reverse the engraved numbers 740 and 770. Resting on a hexagonal base with a contoured edge, the shaft is decorated with shells topped by rocaille and waterfalls. The umbilicus is engraved with the coat of arms of the alliance, surmounted by a count's crown. The wicks (one unloaded) are hexagonal molded nets.
