DIJON 1780 Plain silver tripod coffee pot. The feet sabot with elongated tabs, the attachments in applique enhanced with shells, the spout in molten silver is decorated with a female mascaron empanaché extended by a shell, a vine leaf and a bunch of grapes. The hinged domed lid is moulded with enrubanised fillets ending in a rosebud on its chiselled base. The thumb rest represents a shell extended by a leafy branch. The handle represents a dolphin holding in its mouth the rings of the attachments to the body.
