German ceramist. Apprenticeship as porcelain painter in Colditz. 4-year study at the technical school for applied art and form design in Sonneberg. Subsequently, 5-year study at the Berlin-Weißensee School of Art with Henze, Kaiser and Mohr. Since 1967 freelance artist. Co-founder of the artists' association Schaddelmühle. Lives and works in Berlin Oranienburg.
