Lithografie auf festem Bütten. Unsigned. Im Stein ausführlich datiert "4.2.63" u.re. Im Passepartout hinter Glas in einer breiten, silbernen Holzleiste gerahmt.
WVZ Bloch 1108, das Baltt entstand als Einband für das Werkverzeichnis Mourlot Band IV, 1963.
Blatt geschnitten, re. Hälfte der Doppeldarstellung. Unscheinbar lichtrandig.

Seine Jugend verbrachte er in Barcelona, wo er von seinem Vater unterrichtet wurde. 1897 he attended the first art school and from 1897 the art school in Madrid. Nach seiner Ausbildung siedelte er 1903 nach Paris über. Gefördert wurde Picasso u.a. durch G. Apollinaire u. Max Jacob. Mit Braque zusammen gilt Picasso als der Begründer des Kubismus.
