Note :
- 1945 : born in Jacmel (South of Haiti).
- 1955 : Grows up in Port-au-Prince.
Revolted by the fascist dictatorship of F. Duvalier as well as by the poverty and inequalities that plague Haitian society, he becomes, at the age of 16, while terror reigns, a member of the Parti Entente Populaire: a revolutionary party fighting against the government.
At the same time, he studied law and economics, in addition to painting, which he had been doing since the end of his secondary education.
- 1968: He presented his paintings at the Nader Gallery (Port-au-Prince), which obtained from the artist the exclusivity of his production for several years.
