Franked with the world's first Airmail stamp (S.1), bearing the segmented stamp "20.5.17". Red overprint on two lines at bottom of postcard, few known postcards with this sopr. In addition, affr. envelope with fr. overprinted "Seaplane Naples-Palermo-Naples-25 cent." (S.2) with stamp "Posta Aerea-Palermo-Continente- 28.6.17". Interesting, first experiments in Italy.
