Franked with 4 Persian stamps: 11c. blue and red; pair 10c. blue and 15c. gray (YV. 546,552, 553) sent by a participant in the "Italian Expedition to the Persian Mountains" directed by Ardito Desio. For the occasion, the Minister of Aeronautics Italo Balbo provided an airplane. The expedition operated in Iran climbing for the first time some peaks higher than 4000 meters. Special stamp of the expedition, rare document.
