Born in 1995, Clovis Rétif first studied design and architecture and worked in this field for three years. He then left Paris to live in Montreal to devote himself fully to drawing. Today, he lives and works between Brussels and Paris. Having always loved nature and solitude, he has always lived in the city, this antinomy has become a source of inspiration for him. His work speaks of natural balance, of creative solitude, of the present and the future, of the difficulty of projecting oneself into a frightening future.
